Christopher Plummer and Heath Ledger star in this quirky fantasy from director Terry Gilliam. When a deal with the devil comes due, the immortal Doctor Parnassus (Plummer) must renegotiate the pact to save his daughter. Now, with the help of his mystical theater troupe and a mysterious stranger, Parnassus attempts to right the wrongs of his past. The film is Ledger's last, with Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law all completing his role.

Train Trip

Întorcându-mă în Bucureşti după 3 zile petrecute acasă am decis împreună cu prietenul meu şi cu colegul de cameră, care veniseră în vizită, să mergem cu trenul. Bineînţeles, a fost o decizie tare proastă fiindcă, ca de obicei trenul a avut întârziere. Dar pe de o parte a fost foarte fain pentru că am avut o companie de nota 10, jucând cărţi şi multe alte jocuri idioate ca să ne ţină ocupaţi, râzând până la epuizare de prostiile care puteau ieşi din gurile noastre. Dar cel mai şi cel mai important lucru pe care vreau să vi-l dezvălui este duma spusă de o bătrânica care stătea în apropierea noastră. Totul a început când aceasta s-a băgat în vorbă cu o doamnă care avea un copil. Bătrânica întreabă la un moment dat dacă seamană copilul şi cu soţul acesteia. Ea zice ca da seamăna cu amândoi, na ca doar amândoi au participat. Iar bătrânica dupa un moment de gândire profundă ajunge la concluzia urmatoare :

" A păi.. dacă dumneavoastră semănaţi cu copilul şi copilul seamănă cu soţtul dumneavoastră, înseamnă că soţul dumneavoastră semană cu dumneavoastră "

A fost un moment unic, mai ales să poţi vedea figura bătrânicii care era absolut convinsă că ceea ce afirmase ea este foarte plauzibil! Măcar are şi CFR-ul partea lui faină uneori.

The Swell Season - Strict Joy

În sfârşit una din formaţiile mele favorite a lansat un album nou, pe care, toţi fanii formaţiei îl aşteptau cu nerăbdare. Toată lumea se întreba cum va fi noul album, dacă vor pastra aceaşi nota care a fermecat auzul ascultătorilor şi bineînţeles al telespectatorilor, prin filmul muzical "Once". Dacă încă nu v-aţi dat seama cine sunt, vă voi spune eu. Formaţia este compusă din vestitul duet Glen Hansard şi Marketa Irglova. The Swell Season este numele formaţie şi nu Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova, cum am crezut şi eu la un moment dat. Noul album m-a surpins în totalitate, este mult mai bun decât mă aşteptam, deşi ar fi trebuit să ştiu ca va fi un succes total deoarece ei doi compun muzica cu stropi de iubire şi nu din lăcomia după bani. Am ascultat şi eu concerte live online şi va jur ca sunt printre puţinele formaţii care sună chiar mai bine decât versiunea de studio. La un moment dat la inceputul melodiei "Falling Slowly", de pe albumul vechi, Glen a ţinut un mic discurs care m-a impresionat, făcându-mi până şi pielea să mi se zburlească. Acesta era :

"This song is.. a bit like you kick your ball and you're hoping it's going to get to the end of the garden because that's where your little brother is waiting for you to kick it back, so you kick it and your ball goes over the wall, over the river, over the next town and it goes into a place you never imagined it would even end up."

They are a truly one special band. Vă garantez că după ce veţi asculta acest album, o să simţiţi cum vi se va topi inima uşor, iar versurile melodiilor o vor recompune înapoi bucăţică cu bucăţică până aceasta va deveni un nou întreg. Ca să vă conving în totalitate voi împartăşi cu voi noul lor single şi anume "Low Rising", care beneficiază de un videoclip foarte interesant. Vă urez vizionare plăcută.

Cherry Coke

Deşi prefer gustul Pepsi-ului Twist, în vacanţa de o săptămână pe care am petrecut-o în Budapesta, am descoperit un contracandidat foarte bun pentru acesta. Şi anume Coca Cola Cherry, care bineînţeles nu a apărut în România. Acesta are un gust dulce acrişor care poate produce dependenţă uşor, dar cel mai mult îmi place la ea faptul că nu lasă senzaţia aceea de sete continuă care te obligă să bei toată sticla de 2 litri. Recomand Coca Cola Cherry cu mare drag.. desigur cand va aparea, cine ştie.. în vreo lună, două sau poate un an, doi.

A brand new song from The National wich i adore. I sit and wonder if there are songs from them that i don't like and haven't found a answer yet :D I won't run away anymore.. This song ambitions me to stand up, and never run away from anything, even if it's hell alive i must face it and beat it. I am so happy to see they are working on a new album. Enjoy!
